The longer I eat this way.....

    Has anyone else noticed this? Aside from feeling terrible, and all the carb side effects, have you noticed anything else?

    I have and it was a serious kick in the *** this morning!! Normally I have a few weeks of sugar intake before my body starts to revolt. Well, I had one day...and that was yesterday. Today.....in the shower so much hair washed off my head I plugged the drain! When I eat alot of sugar, I loose hair...the Dr told me its related to my pcos and my hormones. Umhm.....so if that isnt enough to keep me from eating crap, I honestly dont know what is!!

    Tonights dinner plan is chicken and a huge spinach salad with lots of tomatoes ...Im craving tomatoes...go figure

    What have you noticed that happens pretty much right away now compared to before you ate this way?
  • I haven't noticed anything but I haven't gotten above 20 carbs in 3 weeks.. lol I don't can't won't let myself cheat.. hope I can continue that.. but funny you say about hair falling out becuase last time I did this diet when I started adding more carbs in I did notice that.. isn't that strange is it a side affect ya think from adding the carbs back?
  • I get litterally sick when I have been low carbing and suddenly flood my body with junk! It ought to tell me something.
  • I totally agree with you all. On sunday, I ate all sorts of junk and come monday and today...i am nausaus with the scent of food cooking. I ahve always had a hair loss problem...LOL, so I dunno if it's cause of my poor old eating habits. I think I'm allergic to Carbs...ha!
  • I know that the same "great" tasting food (donuts, fries, etc) that I'd eat before doesn't taste as good. TOO greasy. BLECH!! Then when I eat it I get REALLY tired. Haven't had it make me sick though. Maybe that'd be what it'd take to keep me away from it
  • anything sweet tastes REALLY sweet now. I used to hear people say "That's WAY TOO sweet for me!" and I'd think yeah, right, whatever.

    Body definitely rebels if I eat crap food. I gain weight quickly even if I just slip up a little and I get REALLY sick even if I just eat one little fried thing....

    When I was doing low carb (coming back to it now) and I ate sugar, I would be nauseous, headache and the big "D" .... and got soooo crabby.
