fitday elliptical question?

  • my main source of cardio is getting on the elliptical 6 times a week. I've just started using fitday the past few days and can't find a activities option for this.. is there something I missing?

    I've been subsituting
    Bicycling, 12-13.9 mph, leisure, moderate effort because it is very close to what my machine says as far as calorie burned if I add just a minute or so..

    I do occasionally get on the bike and want to be able to have the two seperate and know the difference when looking back months from now..

    is there a option for the elliptical that I'm just not seeing?

  • I usually use ski machine. I believe that's the one where it's an elliptical but the arms go back and forth as well. The calories tend to run low but that's better than judging too high.
  • I agree with Stacy, I've never found one for elliptical so I use ergonometer or something like that. I'd rather err on the low side too.
  • thanks I'll try the ski machine and see how close it is to what I'm actually doing.. I'm not really sure what a ergonometer is?

  • Me either but fitday has one all bundled up with rowing machine ... I think.
