Wow! I am the first one to post?? Amazing!

The baby got me up early and I'm going to take advantage and go to the gym early. I was grumbling earlier in the week about the scale not moving, but thankfully it moved down again! YAY!

I made a wonderful salisbury steak dinner last night that I'm going to post in recipes.

I'm just so excited I'm one pound away from my first 10 lb. goal and I really need that mani/pedicure (my treat)!!!

Well I had to start over but here I am again on day 2 week 1 and have lost 5 pounds so far want to be about 130 by May. I am going to check out a gym today but for now I am using my gazelle and walking and my ab lounge.

Here is my menu for yesterday I know not enough veggeis I will work on that.

B~ SB Choc Shake

S~ String cheese

L~ grilled chicken salad w/ ranch

S~ string cheese

D~ Taco Bake MMMMM

S~ SB Peanut butter cup w/ cup milk

Hey chicks! I don't know what got into me but I ate bad yesterday. My stupid car drove itself through the drive through!! I hate it when that happens. I feel bloated and nasty right now. I'm still going to move on to P2 after Monday because I always seem to lose weight when I start the day w/ a bowl of steel cut oats. I was doing so good! I don't what I was thinking. I even had dinner ready and everything at home. Grrrrr! Oh well, onwards and upwards!

Paearshape - sorry to here about your drive through experience - but it happens and I am glad that you are still focused and moving forward.

Alisha, I'm sure the chicks in the Jan 16 Start thread would tell you that you need more veggies. ISn't the Taco Bake wonderful! I have some ff refried beans on hand and may make up some portions today. I freeze single portions and then bake. Yummy!

The Girls did a very major bark about half an hour ago. I thought Romano was here but they were telling me that the fire in the woodstove was smoking! Good Girls! I hadn't opened the damper enough and the wind was coming from the east. So much for my pioneer genes.

I am getting pretty fed up with having to stay home for this construction stuff. Today they will pump out the water and dry things up. Tomorrow it'll be more cement and sealer. Hmmm. I guess it'll be Monday for the sealer, alas! I'm poking away at cleaning off the shelves in the stairwell, washing stuff and then deciding keep or pitch. It's a slow and grubby job but it's getting done. Late in the afternoon, I'll treat myself to a good soak in the tub as a reward.

Gotta dash. The guys should be here by now and I've not done my upstairs tidying. I wish those Girls would quit leaving things around!

rotten banana ~ You're doing fantastic! Keep it up! My scale hasn't been moving, either! I've been doing so well, except for that piece of cake on Monday, so I've been expecting to see a big loss, but I've stayed the same. My clothes are feeling loose, though, so something's happening!

Alisha ~ yes, you need to work in more veggies. Have some celery or pepper strips with that string cheese. And I hope that milk is the nonfat or LF kind. You are doing great, too!

Pearshape ~ Don't dwell on what happened yesterday. You seem to be starting today on the right track again, and that's what's important. We ALL fall off the wagon at one time or another, we just have to shake ourselves off and climb right back on.

Today is our library day, other than that nothing much is going on. I've been to Curves already, and should look through my recipes to have something ready for supper. Lunch is going to be a tuna salad today. The sun is shining and it's supposed to be a mild day so we may try to get a walk in.

Weezle ~ I was rooting for the "Red Couple" too! There was something about the girl on the Blue team that I just didn't like. Can you imagine, though, having $50,000 to spend on a wedding!!! Maybe I'm a cheapskate, but I would only use a small portion of that for a wedding, and put the rest towards a down payment on a home or another good use.

Morning girls!! I watched Biggest Loser last night too, and rooted for the red team...But the guy on the blue team was HOT!!! I am with you Cottage- I would put most of that miney into a house!!
Well, took the puppy to the vet yesterday....he is now 30 lbs and 13 weeks old...he put on 10 lbs in 3 weeks!!! What a little man.
Alisha- Yes girl, you need more veggies..what about water..are u drinking lots of water?

Not as cold as it was these last couple of days,but still to cold to walk along the beach.

Turned my menu around,by having dinner[Chinese veggie & Shrimp] this morn and breakfast tonight[Fiber One Ceeral with Applesauce,]let see what happns on the scale this Sat.Just a thought, to see if I can move my metabolism a little. Wish me :good luck:LucK.

Loving Mommy-Thats great that you lost 5 lbs,but your going to stall or given gain those pounds back ,if you don't add veggies into you menu.You not eating a balanced diet.Veggies & protein on Phase 1 than adding grain & fruits back in Phase 2.

Pearsahpe-Don't stay on Phase 1 if your craving are gone, maybe that why you drived thought the drive in as your body is lacking carbs. Starting Phase 2 is a smart move.

Ruth-You're lucky that the dogs were there. Smoke fireplaces or woodstoves are a dangerous thing.Give your doggies an extra hug.Gee! you're always so busy,hope them mess get resolved.

Sheesh - apparently my brain hasn't kicked in yet! I accidentally posted this in the wrong thread!

Take two:

DH took charge of dinner last night: we ordered Chinese Actually, it wasn't too awful--I skipped the rice, so it was mostly just meat and veggies. I had a whole passel of homework due by midnight, so I had to focus on that (got it in by 11 pm!). I think I must be starting to PMS, though--I've just been ravenous the last day or so. That, or it's from having had some stomach bug recently! I didn't eat very well (both quality and quantity) while I was sick, so that could be it, too. Oh well, at least I can eat veggies and meat again!

Oh, for those of you who had viewed my photos in the gallery--FYI, I took them down last night. I was looking at the one with DS on his first birthday, when I saw someone had made a comment on it. The comment kind of freaked me out a little, so I decided to remove them. After all, this is the internet - who knows who else is looking at them. <jibblie jibblie> So just remember to exercise caution with your information and photos, and try not to have anything that could identify you too accurately. hmm I guess I should watch this bigger loser show... hopefully they'll have repeats.. Last night I was up most of the night with DH.. He is doing an install overseas in the Phillipines and Belgium and well, their Day is our Night... So I kept DH pumped full of cawfee, rubbed his shoulders and "watched the traffic" going acrossed the networks...He hasn't given noticed yet..we're still waiting on the written offer from the other job..so he wants to make sure he ties up all his projects before he leaves this company.. He's in bed now, and I am UP UP UP with a sick PUP.. Casey musta ate something outside cause she is vomiting and very clingy. I gave her a Tum...

I was up and looked on here and saw that there wasn't a Thursday thread yet and thought maybe I was just still half-asleep. I didn't want to start one if I just wasn't seeing one there because my eyes were still half-closed.

Yeah, the girl on the Blue Team on Biggest Loser was just really snotty, I thought. I just love that show. I didn't know there was going to be another Special Edition starting next week too! SHEESH! I'm going to have to race home from volleyball every Wednesday! I only caught the last 30 minutes of it last night, but even after playing 2 straight hours of volleyball, I still was inspired and laid on the floor and did 300 crunches.

Not a lot of time to post. Molly is not holding up well with her breakup, plus 5 people from her office have died in the last month. Two heart attacks, a breast cancer, a brain cancer, and an unknown that happened this morning. They think it was a stomach aneurism but they won't know until the autopsy is performed. Geezey petes. I need to email her and try to console her and then I have about a gazillion projects and not a lot of time to get them done.

Incidentally, we won 4 out of 6 games, which isn't bad for having 2 new people on the team, neither of which know how to play. It's a rebuilding year.

Well, at work today. So far it's quiet but i'm sure that is the calm before the storm. Today I am determined to take the 30 minute lunch that I don't get paid for and usually work through. I deserve it and I need it! I have my lunch ready, I have cabbage soup cooking in the crock pot for when I get home. NO MISTAKES TODAY!
