I haven't been sleeping well since starting Sonoma. Has anyone else had that problem?? The good thing is that I still have enough energy to get through the day as if I were sleeping normal. I think it is catching up to me today because I am blue. Here is what is on my mind:
1. I got on the scale and there was a gain. I feel a little bigger but I am pretty sure it isn't a "real" gain because I am still working the program. Although last night I didn't make dinner so I had cereal/milk and toast (I know; but it was all high fiber so I though it was an ok solution). Am I wrong?
2. Renewed my license and look fat and I don't like my hair.
3. We are going to Vegas on Sunday and I am not ready. I can't get in to change my hair--Darn!!
4. My computer has been broken since Monday. Today is the first day I can use it. I am so behind!! Yet I am here. Just sad and pathetic.
5. My 15 year old seems to be struggling with friends. He is well liked but doesn't have a nitch. He always hung out with the athletes but now he isn't as competitive (late bloomer--short and not as strong) and doesn't go out. He doesn't fit in the the outdoorzy hunting types and doesn't want to hang out with the partiers (he calls them his "day time friends"). He seems a little out of sorts and I am worried and I don't know how to help.
No one calls for him and he doesn't call anyone.I know! The glass is half empty today. I will get better and I am not normally like this. I think it is getting to me because I am tired and overwhelmed.
I really need a hug!!
Sweet Home Alabama is playing. That helps!! Just getting this out is helping. For Pete's sakes I am going to Vegas!! My family is healthy. Why am I letting myself get down??

How do you feel? Did you feel a little bigger before or after getting on the scale? Could be as simple as water retention, so you might want to watch your sodium. This is just a suggestion, but when you can't make a meal, still try to balance protein, grains, and vegetables. For example, some cottage cheese (protein) with raw vegetables and the toast might have been more balanced than cereal and toast.
