Hi everyone,
It's time I join in here. I've been lurking a bit since the first of the year.
I started the year at 303 lbs. I wasn't planning on a New Years Diet but breaking 300 gave me the motivation I need. Like many I've gone back and forth and tried a bit of everything. I'm tired of my clothes not fitting, getting dressed every day is a battle because most of my clothes are too small. I'm starting to notice the seatbelt doesn't have as much room in it, sometimes I feel awfully snug in a chair. All of that really humuliating stuff.
At my first weigh in I lost 9 lbs. My biggest fault is portion control so that's what I'm focusing on. I'm planning menus so I always have good food to eat. I was already a member at the Y and have rededicated myself to some good workouts. My name is to remind myself why I have to do it, I don't want to be the mom who is always sitting on the bench watching him have fun.
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.
