I've started Weight Watchers three times before. Twice I went to the meetings and lost a few pounds and the last time was in September of 2004, which I did online and lost 17 lbs. before the holidays hit and I gave up. I was on the flex program, and it really worked pretty well. However, I have about 60 lbs to lose and I don't want to start and give up again.
Did any of you start several times before it finally clicked for you?
I was awake at 3 this morning realizing that I don't know how to lose weight without starving myself. I lost a lot of weight once eating nothing but popcorn and canned peaches. Then I passed out in the shower and cracked my head open, which ended that. I've done several diets like that, although none of them ended quite so dramatically.
Weight Watchers has been the only diet that is healthy for me, but I can't keep spending money on it if it doesn't click for me.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I really think I must need some sort of therapy, but that's really out of my price range.
Thanks,
Darby
