I went to sleep at a more or less reasonable hour last night (despite sleeping nearly all day - I hate being sick!). However, DH woke me up when he finally made it to bed, and I can't get back to sleep! Arrgh! At least I'm feeling a bit better.
I've been slacking off lately on the plan, so I'm going to straighten up and behave myself (at least for a while!
) like a good little mommy-Bean! That means trying to get even just a wee bit of activity in each day, whether it's going for a walk or having some kind of a romp with DS or even just vacuuming the rug or cleaning the bathroom - with these online classes, I'm muuuuuch too prone to sitting on my hindend all day. I need to stop being such a lazy bum! I guess I just got into the habit of sitting around a lot first while I was miserably pg with DS, and then later recovering from the c-section. I'm too short for our sofa, so it was excrutiatingly painful to get up and down from it while I was healing from the surgery. By the time I'd healed, the habit was well established. Not that I've ever been all that active, anyway - I'm the bookish sort.So there's my New Day's resolution: get up off my hiney and move around a bit!
On a somewhat related note, I've settled on a theme for DS's bday party: The Wiggles! He loves them, and I love that they encourage kids to get up and move around rather than sitting catatonic in front of the television! I'll push the coffee table out of the way, put on one of their cd's, and let the kids dance
around - that's as much of an activity as a bunch of toddlers and preschoolers need!
Yesterday was a pretty busy day, as most of mine are, but I also chatted with friend who called until 9:30 so that may have helped. When I get my Girls back tomorrow, I'll get back into a proper routine. I think I'm sleep deprived.
There will be a ton of items ready for the spring yard sale at the Church!
