For me it is cooking dinner for everyone and still trying to keep it healthy.
My kids and DH are so darn picky especially my youngest who just turned 7. She has reflux and everything [she clains] bothers her stomach except for pasta and fish LOL.
I told them last evening at dinner that for 14 yrs I have been making dinners that they like and this year I am not doing it anymore.
We will be eating better and they will be eating their veggies even my DH [he doesn't eat them at all]
You don't eat them [at least try them and nothing gross]
I don't cook the next night.
SO I need you all to give me some pointers on preparing dinners and side dishes.

I think you have the right attitude, if they don't like it, they starve!
You need to think of your own health, and you kids are certainly old enough that they can eat healthy meals...I mean as opposed to just the stuff they like...you're beyond chicken fingers and mac & cheese!
