I understand that compulsion to eat. Late afternoons and Evenings are my downfall. I start off with the best intentions and do well up until I get home from work when I'm really hungry and tend to grab whatever is handy...usually chips which I love! Then I go downhill from there. I don't have time in the am and during my lunch hour break to make satisfying meals which is why I'm always starving by 4pm. It's very difficult to diet and I'm not sure how in the world I lost the first forty pounds! Portion control, I suppose, but I've struggled with grabbing whatever's convenient and lately I haven't had any will power to control that compulsion.....so I feel your pain, mta!
