  • Okay so we all have posted our new years resolutions, but I think we need a monthly goal thread. Mini goals are just as important to getting to your main goal.

So, my goal for January is to lose 5 lbs.

What is everyone else’s goal for the month?
  • I want to:
    Lose at least 5 lbs
Consistently go to the gym, even when school starts up again
Attend yoga/pilates classes at least twice/week
Continue with eating smaller portions and eating 1500 cals/day
Burning at least 500 cals/day on most workout days
Weight lifting every other day for more muscle tone
Spend less time on the computer-more time to work out!
Study more during the day so I have more time in the evening/weekends
Avoiding the vending machines at school- bringing water/fruit to classes

I have a lot more I'm sure, but this is good enough
    Goodluck everyone!

  • My goals are to lose 4 pounds (i'm up 2 from christmas but I refuse to move my ticker),
get 2 servings of fruit and 2 of veggies every day,
drink 64 ounces of water a day,
keep up with my weight training (3Xs a week)
and to do at least 6 days of cardio...hopefully an hour a day but I'll take 1/2 an hour on my weights days
and stay under 1600 calories at least 6 days a week

Keep it up ladies and we can meet our goals!

    - lose at least 5lbs
    - eat every 2.5 hours like the dr. says
    - not go and buy impulse candybars... find a way around that one
    - start exersizing... don't do anything now... maybe i'll go to a couple aquafit classes.
  • I want to lose at least 5 pounds more.... and exercise for at least an hour to an hour in a half a day....
  • Here I go!!
I am so excited to start over again! But the do over will be Monday

*Follow my eating menu no matter what!

*Write in my food/daily journal each day

*Exercise at 6:30-7:30 each morning 6 days of cardio/ 3days with 30 min
    weight training

*Set aside a day to do something to help me reach other goals in life

*Set aside me time each say (15-30 min).

*Be down to 198 by the end of the month....

*Don't know my weight prolly 215 but the menu I will get back on will allow
me to lose weight pretty quick---don't be alarmed I have to eat 6 meals a
day each day to speed up my metabolism and stop eating before 8:00pm
  • Stephie's Goals
Well hmmm...starting 1/2 way through the month but these goals aren't out of reach, I will just have to work *extra* hard!

-Do some form of exercise/workout every single day (even if just taking the dog for a walk!)

    - Drink 64 oz of water a day

    - Follow my SB diet plan

    - Get to 1500 minutes total exercise for this month

    - lose 5 pounds

Looks like a lot of us have similar goals, good luck ladies!
  • My main goal for January, is really just to keep at my new healthy lifestyle. I'd like to exercise at least 4 times a week - and to eat wisely, allowing myself one 'treat' a week. I'm not going to get all obsessed with weighing myself, so I probably won't even weigh myself until i've been doing this for a month
