Figuring calories, etc. in a recipe

  • Is there a website where you can enter ingredients for a recipe and get the nutritional info?

    Thanks!
  • You can enter all the ingredients in a recipe in fitday as a custom food and it will give you the totals. The tell it what a portion size is, and it will recalculate the nutrients and calorites.

  • There's also dietpower if you want to use their free trial. I live by dietpower and actually bought the program after the trial which is new for me! I never buy, just use the trial up! I just loved it too much. You can enter custom foods or use their huge list to form a recipe. it's a nice recipe book to have along with a great weight loss tool.

  • I found Food Exchange is a wonderful way of figuring out calorie content in any recipe. It is published by the National Institute of Health.
