  • You guys are awesome
Here I was thinking about asking someone to post a grocery list today so I know what to buy to get started, and you guys beat me to it...I'll be able to run out tonight maybe and pick up some of this stuff...

  • This week I bought:

    big shrimp
    scallops
    spinach
roasted red peppers (canned in the jar - so excellent in salads)
romaine lettuce - I like those packages with about 3 in the bag that you cut up yourself
    Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries
nonfat plain yogurt (which I turn into yogurt creme by sieving out the liquid - yummy in lots of ways)
    eggs
    asparagus
    green beans
    tomatoes
    feta cheese, goat cheese
Barilla Plus Angel Hair (love the stuff!)
    grapefruit
    chicken broth

I've been on a program to make at least 2 seafood meals a week - not hard at all once you get started. I'm trying to use up stuff in my freezer - chicken breasts, turkey breasts, ground beef, beef filets, and some leftovers as well. :-)
  • For this week (I'm re-starting Wave 1 so no fruit):

    Peppers
    Onions
    Garlic
tomatoes (I so cannot wait for my tomato plants to start producing!)
    cucumbers
    fresh broccoli
    fresh cauliflower
    sugar snap peas
    mange-touts (chinese snow peas)
    chicken breasts
    salmon fillets
    cod loins
    wholemeal bread
    turkey bacon
    wholegrain pasta
    red lentils
    aduki beans
    quinoa
    brown rice
    anchovies
    almonds, hazelnuts and cashews
    textured soy protein
    Feta cheese
    bottled roasted red peppers
    olives
    eggs

Sometimes the grocery bill is a bit more expensive than others when you have to restock on items like grains, pastas, beans, EVOO. But thankfully, they don't all run out at one time! Not normally, anyway.
  • more stufff
    snow peas
    parsley
    arugula
whole foods whole wheat pasta (good and cheap!)
    kashi go lean crunch
    scallions
    balsamic vinegar
    grape tomatoes

I never bought the stuff because it took so long to cook and didn't taste that good.
I found some that's in boiling bags. You boil them for 10 minutes and they taste great!
