I'm keeping my fat butt home today and I'm going to relax.... but then after reading Marie's post about knitting, I really want to go get some yarn LOLOL!!! I'm such a knucklehead snort ~

Good morning! I am iced in and chili sounds just right for today! I hope to heck I have the fixin's! I'm going to be in the house all day too, Leenie. Do you think we can do something productive?
Hug the DD for me - I'm glad she appreciates heaven. I think part of her ehaven is having Mom home today.

Ruthie, I hope we don't do anything productive today ROFL !!! I wanna stay in my jamies all day even if it makes DD sick ROFLMFAO.... talk to the hand !!!

You guys got ice? thats worse than snow or anything else. I'm glad your staying put. I gotta go check the freezer for some chicken to make my chili. Oh and of course pumpkin MMMMMMMM !!!!!!

I am relaxing today.........got a big pile of dishes to tackle and a bit more laundry
Back to work tomorrow for one.
Other than that it is quiet until the second.
I gave all my chili to my friends who were moving........and was it ever good. Had to sample it first.....make sure it was safe for consumption.
My7 year old has had a fever for four days........if she is not better she goes to the doc today.

Leenie, here is the recipe for the bread. As I said, I make it in the bread machine. I hope you have great chili - sounds delicious. I've got to go into town and I don't want to. I did finish my closet and itemized all of the donations. Yeah!!! That's always a chore.

And, like usual, I got a cold from being on the airplane. I hate planes!!!. So now I have a sore throat, achey and feverish. The congestion is starting to come on too. Traveling is one of my most hated things.

Sweet Oatmeal Bread
2 t. active dry yeast
3 c. bread flour
1 T. gluten
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 T. sugar
3/4 c. oats
3 T. molasses or honey
1 3/8 c. warm water

Process on basic bread cycle.

I'm fine today! It must have been a 24-hour bug! Am a bit tired but we DID get up at 5:00AM.

I was upstairs in the sewing room, straightening up the chaos. I also prepared about 6 lengths of fabric for sewing by preshrinking "just in case".

I wiped up the floors today since Wisconsin is having a warm spell and that means MUD MUD and more MUD! Goldie the doggie is a specialist for finding it.

I'm very concerned about CIN. Gosh, it isn't like her to stop coming here after all these years.
