I know we are just getting over the holidays but I would love some workable tips for Jan. You all have helped me so much I just wanted some more advice and this is the best place for it.
Well, getting rid of the crap in your house would be a start
Planning meals
Calorie counting
Exercise
Healthy snacking
Drinking LOADS of water
Eat protein first, then veggies and this should keep you fuller longer
Relearn your portions. Use a child's plate to put your food on. OR start to eat early in teh day and put your normal portion on your plate. (Not a hefty one). Eat half. Put the other half in the microwave (or someplace out of sight). If in an hour you are still thinking about it. EAT IT! If not, eat it when you are ready or are thinking about it regardless of the time. The point to this is to relearn what you have learned about portion control. If you normally order 6 in sub from subway. Eat 3 in of it and put the other half away. Seems silly, but you'll be eating all day but only the amount of 2-3 meals. Sooner or later, that will drop and you will have normal healthy portions.
