Hi all,
Thought it was a good time to begin a new thread to get us to the New Year.

Had weigh in today and am thrilled to have a maintain! After the abundance of treats at work and at home (on Sunday) I think I did pretty good, if I do say so myself. Still have that elusive .8 to reach the 30 pound mark...sigh...

I'd love to address everyone's posts, but have to get dinner ready.

Jen, Bravo on the maintain, that is a great acomplishment considering the time of year and all the extra food around. I weigh in on Friday morning. You will hit the 30 pound mark soon.

I have 4 grandchildren. Alexis 12, Nick 10, Noah 4, and Alyssa 1. I don't see them as much as I would like. They live about 40 miles from me so it takes some doing to pick them up and they are all involved in school and church things.

I can't believe this group is on thread 177, you guys have been together a long time.

I have a few last minute things to do today, then tonight my daughter is comming over to make candy.

Hi everybody.
I was called yesterday by my GYN and she wanted me to see a surgeon.
There is a small solid mass and a cyst on my right breast. I saw him today and they scheduled a biopsy for Jan. 3. I have to get both biopsied.
They said it was ok to wait til then. It wouldn't get worse but they were concerned about my mental health worrying. I said I could handle it and so we are leaving for Ohio tomorrow. I have a lot of support up there. My sister had 2 benign lumps removed (1977 and 1989). I know the odds are in my favor but I will think the worst until I hear otherwise.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and Merry Christmas. I will try to get back from up in Ohio. Keep me in your thoughts.

Deb, are your grandchildren coming over for Christmas? I wish I had grandchildren. My son is 34 but isn't ready to commit to anyone. Hopefully he'll find someone who still wants kids. I'll settle for one. I love kids & animals, especially dogs. What kind of candy is your daughter making?

Jen, I can not believe you're almost at a 30 lb. loss! Good going Girl.

LJ, lets start back on track after Christmas. I can't take it anymore. I am starting over on Sunday. Join me.

Es, It's Monday for me, friend.....so let's do it.....today was an ok day after all...went to Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fla...won $84.00 on the slots....yeah for me!!!!!!

Drank some, ate some and will have more later....not even thinking about being good, just don't want to, the day is almost over.........That's how I am dealing with it.....

LJ, my bad. I noticed Sunday was Christmas day so I'm starting today. It's been a real struggle & if I continue this way I'll be depressed starting the New Year. My weigh-in day will be Mondays. I'm missing my relatives too. Half of them are in Florida.

Christmas was very nice. Jess and her family are still here, they will be leaving in a bit, and I intend to lounge the rest of the day!

Tomorrow's weigh in won't be pretty but that's okay, it's life.

Back to work today but at least it's a short week.

What's everyone doing for New Year's Eve? Our kids do their own thing, but always call us at midnight. Joe and I get together with my brother and SIL; this year it's at their house. We play board games and spend the night......don't go out on the roads, too many people drinking and driving.

Mornin' All.....and yet another bad pts day yesterday...that' three in a row....so today, I am starting core....as bad as it can be, it is, in essence easier...I don't think I can count another 'daily' point...

I am giving this another shot....something has got to give.....and so why not....
Too busy of a time of year at work, to think about every morsel.....well at least for me. So Es I am in but I've gone over to the core side for the week..or at least to the 31st.

Hope EVERYONE is doing well out there....it's actually cold here.....47 this AM but then again it's on 6AM.... it will be going to the 70's by noon....so, so much for the cold
