Hello
I signed up a while ago but this is the first time I have gotten to the forums. I am a stay at home mom with three kids. I was at my heaviest in June of this year(290). When my husband and I were moving out of our old house when an old man from next door came over as we were hauling a couch and said to my husband "Must be nice having a husky wife." It may not sound so bad but It ate at me and I decided enough is enough. I did really well at first, lost 30 pounds 3 months. Then for some reason I've been at a stand still for the last 3 months. Now I'm ready to put everything I've got back into it I'm tierd of being fat("husky"). I'm hoping that this site will help me stay motivated. Anyone looking for a buddy I'd love to have one!

Congrats on the 30 lbs. and welcome Your comment fits in so well with what some of the other posts have been about recently about people saying stupid things trying to be cute or whatever.

If you like challenges, we do a monthly point challenge where you eat according to your own plan and set your own exercise goals and water goals and receive points. We also have a couple of exercise and just general daily eating threads as well as just about anything else.
