The object of this thread is to take on at least one challenge related to your weight loss goals for 7 days straight. Choose whatever inspires you - a certain amount of water intake, no sugar, 30 minute walks, etc.
I will award accolades for each day you maintain your goal(s), and 7 day winner awards and pounds down at the end of the week. We will begin each challenge on Monday - you can choose a new challenge or repeat any challenge for extra mileage. If you would like to stretch yourself, take on more than one challenge.
We will support each other keeping in mind to stay focussed on our successes and/or challenges of the day and week related to our weight loss. There are plenty of threads where a lot of time is spent on personal stories, so let's try to keep that to a minimum.
December 25 is our newest short-term challenge date - Even if you are not celebrating Christmas feel free to take on that date with us or December 31 (New Year) as the end of the challenge. The object is to strive for consistent weeks of goal achievement resulting in big losses!

All that we have is right now.
Yesterday is gone, Tomorrow is not promised, and Someday is not a day of the week!

I was going to do it later - but just like someday is not a day of the week - later is not a time on the clock. So I decided to do it "right now" when the thought hit me this a.m.
but I will do it as soon as I get home and report in. I hope to be like carla who already reported a 2lb loss last week!

But I will not be daunted. I am going to stick to my weekly challenge of 30 minutes of treadmill (or stair climbing - dusting the stair climber off and getting it back into circulation); 72 oz of water a day and no white processed foods. I just ate a steak dinner at 9:00 before I weighed in so I am going to weigh myself again in the a.m.
to Everyone on your challenges for this week!!
Where is everyone!! Okay, lessee.. I walked Tuesday and yesterday I walked A LOT - but it was all in a mall, so it didn't count
It's cold and raining right now... Will I walk tonight? Stay tuned... hee hee
I have been on the treadmill for 30 minutes everyday this week so far
Still struggling with water - Some days good, some days not so good. Never the less, I am very proud of my consistent workouts.
We applaud your challenge - 15 minutes is better than not doing it at all! I am in the same boat - today I got 20 minutes of my workout in when I was interrupted by the phone - I still haven't gotten back on the treadmill to complete the last 10.
ig: out.
stagemomx3! We will stick to you like glue during your challenge.
I am determined to get it in today so I will at least have 6 of 7 completed for the week. Take heart I still have a few more gifts to pick up, the tree is only partially decorated, packages must go to post office, and I haven't begun to think about baking!
Thanks for calling me the winner last week - but like I said, I think that was a loss that happened a while ago! Thank you! I like being a winner! You are going to bake! You brave, brave woman
- oooh, that one is cute, gotta use it!
