Trying to loose for policing, need some advice

  • Hello all.
    I am new to this board and I was wondering if I could get any advice, I am currently doing food combining and exercising regularily, but I can't seem to loose......
    I have been on the program for a while now but am confused.
  • Why don't you write down a days worth of food and let everyone take a look and give you pointers?

  • Well this is on average what I eat in one day:
    1/2 whole grain bagel
    1tbsp of almond butter
    1 banana or a fruit of choice.

    Protein Drink one scoop with one cup of almond milk
    1 apple or choice
    3 walnuts

    Grilled Chic sandwick
    1/2 cup of Hummus
    with 2 cups of veggies

    Turkey Patties home made
    1 cup of peas
    2 cups of steamed veggies.


    Food combining is a program that I started with my nutritionist
    Eating certain food with other foods and what combines well with other food, also when to eat some foods, for example meat do not eat with bad staches.

  • Everything looks really good. I might drop the protein shake and just have a light snack. How many calories does one of those things have?

    Are you excersizing everyday?

    Avoiding sugar laced drinks?

    Drinking enough water?

    I have been doing around 1500 and 1600 calories a day and on average have lost 2 pounds a week. I have just been using common sense. I have been working out every other day with some walking thrown in on the days in between days.

    What about inches have you seen a difference there, the scale is often deceiving ?

  • I think I will take your advice about dropping the shake, not sure of the calories, I don't have the bottle in front of me right now.

    I am exercising everyother day and walking and running on the other days. I do drink allot of water but I could use a little more to be honest.

    I do try to avoid the sugar drinks but I do treat myself once and a while.

    I am currently taking in 1900 cals a day, if you have any more advice please let me know.
    I could use a buddy to help me out.
