Hi, I was wondering if anyone is taking Cymbalta. My doc just put me on it, as she suspects I have Fibro. I started it Dec. 1 and already I can feel much less pain. I do believe it's gonna work for me. I am on 30 mg. and in a few days I go up to 60 mg. I have had some side effects like nausea, dizziness, very sleepy, etc. but nothing too severe. It will be worth it if this stuff works. I was wondering if anyone else is on it, what your experience has been, etc. Does it cause you to gain weight? I am trying to lose, not gain. There are conflicting reports on the internet as to whether it does. So, I was looking for first hand experiences.

I have fibro but am not on Cymbalta - my DH wants me to ask dr. about it next time I am in. Apparently it is a very new drug (and new class of drug) so very little is known about it.

I am on Zoloft right now, but I don't think it has really affected my weight either way...

My husband is taking it for nerve pain, and it has helped tremendously. I have fibro, and am considering asking my doctor about it for myself.
