Mighty Monday Menu! Nov. 14

  • Can you believe the weekend is already over? Waaahhhh!!!

    B: light string cheese, carrots and dill dip
    S: 1/2 PB sandwich
    L: tuna salad (tuna, apple, onion, relish, boiled egg, FF Miracle Whip), 6 Triscuits
    S: 1 mini bag 94%FF popcorn
    D: (was going to be macaroni and cheese with broccoli, milk) -- now changed to rotisserie chicken, steamed broccoli
  • That sounds like a good meal plan.. I love macaroni and cheese, it's my favorite!
  • You should check out the recipe -- it's in the main dishes category. WW rotini pasta, LF (or FF) cheese, and broccoli. It is very easy; my DH made it last time so if he can make it, it's GOTTA be easy!
  • OK here's what I have packed for tomorrow, don't know when/how it will get eaten.

    2 slices of bread
    peanut butter
    fruit bar
    pineapple cup
    applesauce
    chicken and stars soup

    This would be about 15 points I think, if I eat it all.

    D: perhaps minestrone soup and sandwiches, or if stomach is feeling less queasy something else
    S: popcorn
  • Trying to get back into the groove!

    Breakfast: decaf w/cream, oatmeal w/sliced banana & ff french vanilla creamer

    Lunch: teriyaki garlic chicken thighs w/stir fry veggies & couscous, apple

    Snack: veggies (cauliflower, cucumber slices and red pepper strips ) w/dip

    Dinner:? need to get dh to defrost something for dinner! (probably fish)

    Snack: decaf nf cappucino and fruit salad (while dd is dancing)

    s: c. of grapes
    L: Vegetable Soup
    s: pear
    D: Whole wheat pasta w/ homemade tomato sauce, salad w/ renee's dressing (1 pt)
    s: strawberries and ff cool whip

    & of course my water throughout the day. If I get hungry outside of those times, I'll probably have some peppers cut up.

  • breakfast: oatmeal w/applesauce and ffmilk and Splenda
    no breakfast snack:
    noon snack: large plum
    lunch: 3 oz. sirloin 94% chopped beef
    dinner: small sirloin steak, small baked potato w/olive oil, small salad w/lemon juice,
    veggies (whatever they're serving at Country Kitchen), and hot tea
    late snack: popcorn or fruit.

    Good luck to us all--I've gotta remember this is all about one day at a time!!!!!
