any answers to my question

  • what is the best diet to be on when you have PCOS .please let me know what has help some of you out there.
  • i would say south beach becuz it helps regulate your insulin levels. And see an endocrinologist, usually a dose of the drug Metformin can help with the PCOS
  • most of the literature states that low carb is best for pcos. there is a diet out there called the "insulin resistance diet." i have not tried it yet, but i know a lot of pcos'ers out there have had some success with it.
  • I have pcos too. Was diagnosed not too long ago. Im not on any 'specific' plan.. i just cut down a bit my surgar & carb intake. That is it. ... I suppose its defferent for everybody. But doing what im doing seems to be working great for me
  • i've got pcos and insulin resistance. i'm simply counting my calories and exercising. it's the only thing that has worked for me in the past; i am hoping and praying that i am successful with it again!

another thing i've done is cut out sugar and junk food; if i'm going to eat, i *try* to stick to something at least quasi-healthy.
  • GI diet is suppose to be really good, this is what I am going to follow!
