Curves

  • Has anyone tried Curves, I'm thinking of going.
  • I LOVE CURVES! I signed up a little less than a month ago and it's been wonderful. The workout is quick and it's over before you know it. I haven't dreaded going once! In fact, when I'm feeling low at work I think, yes, I get to go to Curves tonight. Such a great environment, I highly recommend signing up!

  • Thanks, I need to some kind of exercise put don't want to go to the gym because of my weight. I keep thinking I will start exercising at home but I don't, so maybe if I join somewhere that would get me started on exercising. There is a curves on my way home.
  • Curves is AWESOME! I used to go and LOVED to go! I injured my knee over the summer and haven't been able to do any exercise - But - I was over 300 pounds and never once felt out of place at Curves. They are very nice and never make anyone feel bad there - there are old women, young women and in between women of ALL weights there.

I didn't lose any weight on it, but lost around 10 inches overall - I wasn't watching what I ate, but if I had, I would have lost weight too.

NOW I'm losing weight on LAWL, but can't exercise - one of these days I'll be able to do both!

Give it a whirl! You will LOVE it!
  • Curves is AWESOME! Since April, I've lost 33 lbs there. Try it out!!!
  • I used to go to Curves and I loved it. I think its a great place with people of all shapes and sizes and of all ages. For some reason I quit going, I guess I just got lazy.
  • We have one near us, some girls go in there lunch breaks, they love it!
  • Check out the Exercise forum - there are quite a few threads on Curves.
  • My SIL goes to curves and has for almost 2 years. She has lost very little weight (but isn't dieting or anything) but loves the atmosphere.

I went with her once and liked it but I have a free membership to a local gym through work so I wasn't going to pay to go there.
