Wonderful Wierd Breakfast concoction

  • Howdy all,
    somedays, that high-fiber cereal just doesn't cut it, does it?

    I recently started cooking my oatmeal with no flavorings, then added a quarter cup of FF cottage cheese and a smidgen of shredded cheddar plus a sprinkling of Fiesta brand fajita seasoning (not a liquid marinade!) Stir, taste, and smile!

    Points depends on what you use. I get 5 or 6, depending on cheese additions.

    Not wierd, but a terrific low point BIG breakfast:


    Healthy Choice makes frozen sausage patties that are 3 for 1 point....and they're delicious! Very easy to prepare and yummy! Here's my favorite breakfast with point value:

    2 eggs- scrambled (no milk, no cheese) on 1 tblsp butter: <b> 5 pts</b>
    (use a slce of Kraft fat free cheese add one point) add peppers and onions to taste for virtually no points

    1 light english muffin with butter: <b>2 pts</b>

    3 Healthy choice sausage patties: <b>1 pt </b>

    Add a glass of milk for 2 pts

    Total (with milk): 10 pts

    I usually have this as a late breakfast/brunch on the weekend!

    Question: what points is just the muffin? I keep hearing about 1 point muffins, but haven't seen any.
