Good morning, Beachers! Lucy and Hershey are back into woofing me awake these mornings but it is getting a bit later. When the time changes this weekend, I hope Ralph's work hours do too.
My flu shot reaction is nearly over, I hope. I need to work a charity Bingo for the Fair Board this morning and just NEED to be better. It starts at 11 with prep and ends around 4 when we count cash and close so it kind of shoots the day. I am hoping to pop into Wal-Mart for some sewing supplies before I come home to feed my furries. I'm crossing my fingers about leaving them alone so long but know they'll be OK because they are such good girls.
When I get home, I need to make a huge pan of scalloped potatoes for a luncheon meeting tomorrow and a cake for yet another meeting on Sunday - all Fair Board related. Too bad they know I cook.
Coffee is needed and then I'll be back. What's happening on your stretch of the Beach?

I'm really quite excited, I get my furbabies today. I looked at their pictures again this morning, and was thinking, "won't be long and you'll be mine!" I sure hope that I haven't made a mistake, it's my feeling that because the male is friendly, the female will get over her fright
quicker. Poor baby! She looks so scared.
I am winding down my career at Kodak and hope to retire in a year, its a big step for me after 33 yrs, scary... The sky is clear for a change here in WNY... going for a nice brisk walk with Jack later ( yorkie) he gives me a great work-out even if he is only 5lb....I am doing considerably better on the beach but found some choc chips last night.... dang it.. ate several handfuls.... It is difficult for me, living with my daughter, I cook and my daughter buys treats for the kids, makes it doubly hard for me not to give into temptation.....
I was planning on hiking this weekend - but Halloween has come upon us too quickly and there's too much left to do - My office goes crazy and we plan elaborate decorations for our employees kids... We'll be working on Sunday to put it all together - It's gonna be AMAZING this year
I had one cat that went to school with me in Ohio - He absolutely refused to stay in the carrier and would sit on my shoulder as I drove from NJ to OH - definately made all the truckers do a double take
