Hello new to SB!

  • Hello my name is Misty and I am a SAHM mom of three children. Amy (5) Katie (3) and Christopher (2). I had been trying out WW at home since January with little success. It wasn't WW though that was the problem it was just me! At my doctors appt before last my doctor told me she wanted me to try SB though I looked through the paper work and though nah, I will stick to WW because I can eat what I want as long as I count (which I was horrible at)... At my last appt last monday she told me she really wanted me to try it so I told her I would give it a month! So far I have lost 10lbs but I do know it's mostly water weight so I am excited but scared to see how things go in phase 2! Anyways..... I would post my weight loss website but I don't think I can? If there is a place where I can let me know so that I others can watch my progress too

    Glad to have you guys here! OH btw I tried the mock french toast LOVED It! Just had to add that in.

    I have to admit, I never could make it on WW because the sugar made me crave and I'd go over my points. But that's just me!

    Check out the many posts in the FAQ about transitioning to P2. You basically want to add ONE thing each day (the same, every day) for a week, and then see how you do. Then add a new thing the next week, if you're okay, or modify the first thing if you gained or had cravings.

    If your weight loss website is just a personal page about your journey, you can post it. If it's another board like this one, you can't. If you want to send it by PM to either Ruth (RuthXXX) or me, we can check it out and let you know, okay? We just try not to post boards that compete with this one.

    Hey, my doctor was the one that got me doing SBD too, and it also took me two visits to finally follow her advice. I've never looked back...it's been an incredible journey.

  • Yeah I think my fall with WW is I could have anything I wanted OR the foods that I did want I couldn't have. I can have some foods now with SB that I wouldn't of wanted to waste my points on with WW! Funny huh? Well I thought that I would give SB a try for a month at first to see if I see an progress, truthfully I thought I wouldn't be able to do it but I am already not craving foods, I have had chocolate cookes in my refrigerator since last friday and I have not had a one and I don't want one! which is the most important part!
