Self Sabotage

  • Hi ladies,

    it's been a while since I've been here. I went on a huge 2 month binge. I can't even believe it! I was down to 155 which is like a size 9/10 for me and about 5 pounds from my goal. Why did I do this to myself?? I gained back about 15 pounds in those two months. My obsession with food is ridiculous.

    Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hi, I really need to get back in the swing of things.

    I'm sorry to hear you have regained some of the weight you had lost but I'm glad you now feel you are ready to try again. It's only been a couple of months since you started overeating again - some people take years to realize they need to get their act back together.

    I have been in the same situation (more than once) and it is possible to get back on track.

    I think you are ready to make a permanent lifestyle change because you have come back here for support and encouragement. I wish you every success in your weight loss efforts. Never give up - you can do it!
  • Wazzugirl, I'm so sorry about the binge. But like Penny said, you haven't left it too long, and you're not giving up! That's huge, hon.
    Sometimes we go into "avoidance mode"... I'm really glad you've decided to come back.
  • I did the same, gained back 11lbs of the 22lbs I lost.... NOT GOOD!
  • The important thing is you're back & ready to try again! That's all that matters in the long haul! Keep on going girl! I know what you're going through!
