  • Well another hurricane headed towards Florida We live on the east coast so will not get the full force of it and if it goes south probably just wind and rain. It is raining right now from it and will continue off and on the rest of the week.

This is an eating out week, will eat out 4 dinners so this isn't looking good for WI. I am trying my best to be on plan....but it is very hard eating out. My self control goes downhill

Hey Lynn and Terri how are you two doing???? Lynn are you still in the challenge??? I will be posting an update soon with the women still left and how they are doing in the next couple days. Terri I hope the chemo is being easier for you....miss your posts.

  • Hi Phylliss: I'm right there with ya on the East coast in Florida. Hoping it won't be anything like last year!

You'll do great eating out--just plan ahead as much as possible!!
  • Oh scary! I hope everything goes well, and you and your family stay safe and sound.
  • Good luck! I hope she dies down before her visit. I live in a coastal state also so I feel your anxiety. Question, with hurriacane season counted in there, how long do y'all actually get to live in your homes where you aren't evacuated, or working on them from hurricane damage? Just curious.
  • 'Morning all. I am feeling strong today. I am only up 1.5 lbs and I expected to have gained more. Guess something clicked this morning. Instead of feeling really discouraged like i have been the last few days, I thought there is no reason why i can't get that off and another. I will weigh in at 205 this Sunday! Starting with being perfectly OP today and 1 hr of cardio every night for the rest of the week. I haven't drank near enough water (and that is usually easy for me) so in my hand hand I have my water bottle and will keep it filled today for a minimum total of 96 oz.
I finished my 3 week detox last Sunday. I wonder if my body has just been adjusting and here I am instead of respecting it and taking care of it, I am abusing it and getting angry and frusterated. Sorry body! The next step is a 9 day colon cleanse with a 5 day fast with liquids only. Apple juice and a strained veggie broth is highly recommended to get the full effects of the cleanse. I was worried about not getting enough calories and losing what muscle I have worked so hard to gain. I use organic apple juice and it has 110 cal. for 8 oz. I thought if I drank enough to equal 1400 cals maybe that would help? I want to do this cleanse but not if it's going to send me backwards. Let me know what you think. I plan on starting it on Monday.

I too have been thinking about you Lynn and Teri. Hope you are doing well.

Phyllis and Jeannette - I am glad the hurricane will hopefully stear clear of you. Be safe and stay dry Phyllis-Think tall glasses of water and LOTS of salad Jeannette-great to finally see you.

Have a wonderful day all. Thanks for letting me go off
  • Good morning everyone!

Phyllis -- I hope you don't get too much of the hurricane. Please check in and let us know how it goes. Also...try not to eat bad foods because you are eating out!!! Remember your goal!! Try the grilled meats/fish and veggies instead of the fatty stuff (a real test of willpower, eh!)

Jen -- It is great to see you! You must live fairly close to Phyllis -- stay dry!

Donna -- I am so glad you are back on track! You have done sooo well so far --- you don't want to jeapordize that!!!! Plus...I love to read your posts!!

I am OP. I am really motivated now because I did a mid week peek and for the first time in about 5 years I hit the 130's!!!!!!! I was 139.4!!! It really made my day. Of course, we all know that it could go up come Sunday...I will try my best to not let it.....I feel the momentum...finally!!!!!!
  • WAY TO GO Anita! Doing a little dance for ya! Keep rolling!
  • formerskinny: Luckily, I had no home damage, so I wasn't displaced at all. Some people in FL are just NOW getting back in their homes....i
