Looking 2 buddy up

  • Hello everyone, I am back again after a short hiatus. Due to hurricane katrina I was threw off track for a minute with my diet. However, I am back and ready to refocus on loosing weight. My current weight is 163 lbs, I am 5' 2" and would like to get down to 130-135 lbs. Due to the fact that I will be 30 yrs old in november I realize the older I get the harder it will be for me to loose weight. Plus, it's been 5years that I have been this size and frankly I am tired of looking like this. I hate looking at pictures of myself, running into people I have'nt seen in years and feeling awkard, trying on clothes and the list goes on.

    For a long time I thought looking like this was ok and accepted it. With my new life I want a new body. I am looking for a buddy who feels the same way. if this is you pm me or just respond to this post. I am ready and serious I hope you are too. Happy loosing everyone!!!!!!!!!!
  • Hey there! Do you diet using a certain program? I use Weight Watchers but am not currently going to the meetings. My fat clothes don't fit! I have had it. I am 30 and 5'6" and weigh 164 I want to weigh 140. I exercise 4 times a week either at aerobics classes for an hour or my elliptical machine. I would love to buddy up with you!
  • Hi, thanks for your reply. I am not with a particulr program, but I am counting calories which is working for me. I exercise 3-4 times a week doing low impact aerobics. I think we should do a short-term goal. What about a weigh in every week. My goal is to loose 2 lbs a week any suggestions? I am open to anything.
  • Sounds great! Two pounds a week is perfect. Should our first goal be 10% of our weight? I am 164, so my goal would be 16 pounds? Does that sound OK?
  • Sounds good! We are the same weight so lets go for it. So if we loose 2 lbs a week that will take approx 8 weeks or 2 months. Lets weigh in every week to keep in touch and offer encouragement. we will begin tommorow 10/10/05.
