What is a realistic weight loss target

  • for one month? I would like to add a goal to the October thread but I don't know what is realistic. I don't want to shoot too high and be disappointed if I don't reach it, but I don't want to shoot too low either.

    Any suggestions??
  • SAHM, I'd say with 44 lbs to lose that you can probably expect to lose at least 4 lbs this month. As you get closer to your goal, that might change, but I'd aim for anywhere from 3 lbs to 5 lbs for your monthly goal. I can tell you from my experience that it feels amazing to lose more than your monthly goal, but devastating when you lose less, so I'd go for a lower number than you think.

    The monthly goals have really helped me stay on track...I hope they help you too! Your twins are darling, BTW!
