Finally, some support at home for WW

  • My family has finally decided to support my weight lose. I guess the time is right.
My oldest son just started UC Irvine. He came home for the weekend. He thought the Whole Wheat pasta with the Spaghetti was a great idea. Today when we drove him back to the University, he suggested a two mile walk before we left.
Yesterday my youngst son had a soccer game. He offered to walk to the two miles to the game with me. Then, when I walked up and down the side lines following the action of the ball, he said he felt llike I was "really into the game".
Today my husband refused to put anything inthe grocery cart without knowing what the calories, fat and fiber content was. This is not like him. He usually just suggets I eat less of what ever he wants to eat. I have always hated his "just don't eat it" attitude.
I work at a small company and all the other employees are male. They have been really great. Twice a week we all eat a veggie soup together. We have a hot plate and a pot and someone makes the soup at home and brings it in.
It is also nice to log onto 3FatChicks and get support here. I love reading all the postings and going through this journy with everyone here at the WW forum.
It is great to have the support of everyone around me. The last two weeks back on WW have been so easy.
  • What a great post!
  • That is a great post. Always nice to hear about others getting the support they need at home to make this work. Sounds like a great family!
