  • Anyone else here like baseball? Who are you rooting for in the playoffs? For me it would be the Angels.
  • I love baseball. I'm not really sure who are in the playoffs. I am a Chicago Cubs fan. I grew up watching them. I can say I won't be rooting for the Yankees. Anyone but them..
  • Although I am a lifelong Dodgers fan (I'm 57 and my earliest sexual fantasies were about Sandy Koufax), I'm rooting for the Angels all the way. Just saw "Fever Pitch" again on DVD. If anyone likes baseball and Drew Barrymore, they will love this movie.

My boss gave me front row Dodger tickets last week and even though the season was a disaster, it was still great fun sitting in the front row.

I started Jenny Craig last month and have actually gone from 135 to 138 (goal 120). Not a good sign! I only had one glass of wine at the ballpark though, no Dodger dogs like usual!

Have a good day. Angels on at 5:15.
  • The Braves!
  • I would second the Braves on this one but I hated to see them end their year lastnight. They played one heck of a game (well may as well say 2 games in 1). Now I don't care for the yankees and seem to be in it every year. I hope to see the white sox and cardinals myself just to change it up a bit.
  • What a game last night. I can't believe it went so long. It would be nice to some teams there that we don't get to see all that much.
  • No Yankeee fans here? Sorry Kellifornia but tonight I'll be rooting for the Yanks. They've been my favorite since Jr. high.

  • Well the Yanks are out of it. I'm not all that sad about it. I think I'll be rooting for the Angels or the Cardinals. I'll have to wait and see who is in the World Series.
  • I'm a Red Sox fan,but....
...we all know what happened to them. I'm cheering for the White Sox now.
  • Cardinals all the way! We're still hanging in there.......

    -Rhonda
  • Hopefully the Cardinals will some motivation from being home now and they can make a great comeback against Houston.
  • Well, the fat lady sang!

We were just plain outplayed...just like last year. <sigh> And though I don't believe in the 'wild card' at all (I mean, at one time we were 19 games ahead of Houston and at the end, we were 9 so they shouldn't even have BEEN there at all), I've always thought it was nice to give everyone a shot. And after 44 years, the Astros and their fans are definately due!

    -Rhonda
  • Yay Astro's! The only reason they won is because I didn't watch it.Everytime I watch the game they lose, so I am not allowed to watch the game anymore.
  • Too funny formerskinnychick.. Does that mean you aren't going to get to watch the World Series now?.. I'm not really sure who to root for. It's really a toss up for me. I'll just have to watch and see who wins.
  • I'll be rootin' for the Astros this year!

But, I am glad the Sox beat the Yanks!
