Aww, thanks for all the encouragement, chickies! This is just the boost I need.

When I weighed on Tuesday the scale said 198.5. I didn't believe it was accurate so wouldn't amend my ticker. Then, when I was out on Wednesday I did something I have never done before: I weighed myself on public scales --3 to be precise! I got three different readings, of course, but since they were all less than 200 lbs (fully clothed, you'll be relieved to know!), I figure it's safe to believe I've really done it.

I'm so relieved to have this mini goal out of the way. Thank you so much for all your support; I couldn't do this without you wonderful people.
