Thursday~Sept. 29

  • Good morning everyone! Can you believe it's almost October already? I started this plan almost 4 months ago, and I am 20 lbs. thinner. Thinking about how fast that time went by and realizing I could be exactly where I was then if I hadn't started this plan and how often I looked back over my fat life wishing I was thinner, wishing I had done something about it because it would be awesome if that dress fit. Now it will! I have not and will not let this be another diet the failed. I will go to Mexico in February with confidence (and 50 lbs gone) and be comfortable in a bathing suit and not spend the whole time wishing I would have tried to lose weight 7 months ago. I love the person I am becoming, I love the confidence I have, I love the relationship I have with my husband - emotionally and physically. I am a new person. I love this person! I want that for all of you! Most of all I want you to want that for yourself. It is so empowering! Have a beautiful day!
  • Hi Donna! Thanks for the uplifting post! Everything you say is sooo true!! We are doing it! We are getting there!!!

Thanks to all of the Lifetime Losers for being here on this journey!!!!
  • I think your power is awesome Donna! You are very inspiring. Today I was feeling down about this diet. Although last night I was exstatic. I think the reason is because I snuck on the scale this am and I am up 1 pound to 166. And I have been OP ALL week and excersizing every day for 15 -30 min of cardio. I did eat dinner later in the evening then normal to stay OP and maybe that was my problem. BUT today I am hungry all the time! I need more H2O and am cutting lunch smaller since I had pizza snuck in between breakfast and snack. Oops. But reading your post just got me back on track! I want 50 pounds gone total too! FOREVER! I am so close to Oct 1 goal - but so far away and it feels pointless striving for that being 3 pounds away. Maybe I should change my tracker to reflect a different day. That might cheer me up.
  • Wow Donna your are our inspiration now!!! Thanks for that great post.

I had blood work this a.m. and had breakfast out....I tried to be good but it was difficult as breakfast out is my favorite. Oh, my cholesterol is down quite a bit and my Dr. says keep it up.

He also was happy about the little bit of weight I lost but of course he wants more off, never satisfied that man!!!! lol

It is hot and humid here again, last night was muggy!!! I did just a short walk with my dog and said forget it. But I did buy watch so I can beep myself every 5 mins. to to the shuffle step during my walking....making progress. Will do some treadmill today.

Think about the challenge, maybe 8 wks too long, we could do 4 wks and make it the Halloween Challenge????

  • I think 4 sometimes pushes people anyways. So I agree w/ 4 weeks Phyllis.
