300+ And Ready To Try Again...#762
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WELCOME !!!
We are a group of individuals who weigh or have weighed 300+, or near there. This group was formed to provide a place for others like us to find support and hope. We are aware of the distinct problems that come with weighing over 300 lbs.
We want to invite everyone to join us in our journey.
We share laughter and tears.
We share what works for us and what doesn't.
We often use a "Topic of the Day" for discussion.
Motivational Monday
Tuesday Tips
Wednesday Wish List .. and What you are doing to obtain it.
Thankful Thursday
FUN Friday ... don't wait until you lose your weight.
Sit-up Saturdays - any physical activity
Share your Success Sunday
These are not required topics ...just ideas to share. We often find them very helpful. We also share heartaches and fears ... joys and celebrations.
We have several extra threads going on simutaneously such as Monthly Challenges, Weekly Weigh-ins, Recipes, Bios, and more. Please feel free to check them all out.
We have found this thread to be more than just a support group...
we have found it to become a home. We invite you to join us.
WELCOME!
I know you'll all agree that we are really thankful for the free services here at 3FC. The sisters offer all of this support and information with no charges to us. There are a couple of ways though that we can help out.
If you are thinking about buying anything at Amazon, why not help out 3FC at the same time? You can do this by clicking on the button for Amazon on any page in the forum, or by clicking on the button on the main 3FC page at www.3fatchicks.com . A portion of your purchase price will be given to 3FC by Amazon. It doesn't increase your price at all, but it does help out 3FC. You can use any of the Amazon.com links that you see on the site in order to help contribute to the site.
Also, BTW, in case you didn't know it, you can view the message boards "ad free" for a minimal charge. I think it's like $15 for 6 months. A very small investment to be rid of the annoying ads and make your pages load quicker.
There have been some concerns expressed by the powers that be about copyright infringement. So please, if you are directly quoting someone else or printing an article in whole or in part, please give credit where credit is due!!!!

Welcome to the new folks who are posting!
Guess I'll just keep a close eye on my calorie-to-weight loss ratio and see if I'm at a good level for now. Sure feels great to be eating almost double the amount of calories and still losing weight, though! Of course, it could be just a fluke, so I'll be tracking everything for a few weeks to see how it all goes.
), then watch the movies we rented and my recorded episodes of The OC (we watched my recorded episode of Lost last night), then tomorrow, I get to start packing--I move in exactly 3 weeks!!!
Jilly B what is TOPS, is it a USA diet club/support group, or what? Hope the move goes smoothly.
will take a walk later on if i feel up to it instead. Xena I know what you mean about the exercise, I hate it and count how many minutes I have left to do
BUT I feel so much better getting it out of the way AND my body fells looser and more alive, how about promising yourself a fast food treat every third day (and go for a healthier option) if you exercise. Its no good me preaching though, I do the exercise but having gained & not knowing how
I have been pretty bad
thurs, fri & sat to be stupid and to punish myself (?), but only at night, I feel pretty bad about it
but today is a new day and I WON'T go off plan today. AA do 'one day at a time' I suppose it must work, good luck anyway.

for your little ladybug that is moving it's way down the tracker
(I think it's okay to post that link since it's non-profit, plus there's a TOPS forum here on the 3FC boards.)
I hope that once I move (less than 3 weeks now!!), all of my subconscious issues will just fly away. Hopefully, that's all it is that my dreaming mind is worried about and there aren't other underlying issues that I don't even know about yet. I have been having very vivid and strange dreams (no more really bad ones like the rape on last week, just really weird ones). I make sure I don't eat anything too close to bed time, and I also make sure not to drink anything with sugar or caffeine late at night, so I really hope they're just stress-related. Last night I didn't dream anything memorable, but I was awake probably 5 times throughout the night (and I was only in bed for about 6 hours!). *sigh* it can only get better from here, right?
