A small triumph

  • Well, it's Monday morning and another week of potential weight loss for us all! Just wanted to share with you a nice experience I had this weekend:

    a friend cancelled plans on Saturday and I have to say, the first thing that popped into my head was, "Mmmm, now I can go and buy junk food and sit in and eat it!" But I am VERY proud to say that I resisted! Instead I rented a good movie and took a nice walk beforehand. Nights in alone have always been really hard for me diet-wise and just not giving in this once was a really big accomplishment. After all, I'm here to make little changes I can stick with for life!

  • Good for you! Nights alone are hard for me too. I guess there is something rewarding about eating all that junk food and I have to find another rewarding thing to replace it. Exercise and a movie are much better choices!!
