  • Good Morning LL'rs:

    Quote:
You can't lose weight without exercise. But I've got a philosophy about exercise. I don't think you should punish your legs for something your mouth did. Drag your lips around the block once or twice.

I turned on my local news last night and the report was that a local man was found murdered in his home over the weekend.

Detectives at the scene found the man face down in his bathtub. The tub had been filled with milk and corn flakes, and the body had a banana protruding from his buttocks.

    Police suspect a "cereal" killer.

  • Ok....those woke me up!!! Very funny.

Well, the dreaded WI tomorrow I am wishing for the scales to be kind to us all.
Seems like some new determination with some of us lately and I WILL MAKE my Nov. goal of 20 lbs.

As I said last week, holidays are around the corner ladies....we need to get moving now to lose the weight and to get our healthy eating patterns down before the cookies and cakes really start appearing!!!

    See ya all tomorrow....Phyllis
  • You woke up in a good mood today, eh karen?! Funny!

Well, I was pretty good yesterday. Now I need to get through the weekend (always a tough one for me)! I did weigh myself this morning and I was down a pound. Woooo Hoooo! I hope it stays tomorrow!
  • I did too Anita! I am down 2 pounds!!! Right on target for my Oct 1 Goal! I am excited this is the first time in a long time I am down 2 pounds in one week. I am now at my PLATEU weight that I can not break- hopefully next week will be my breakthrough week. 155 pounds sounds dreamy right now and that is so close- but will my platue weight at 159 be what will always hold me back? I am thinking about getting a personal trainer. Although I know I could kick - but without one. I am thinking a trainer might break my plateu weight. I'll wait it out another week or so and see what happens.
  • Karen -

    Keep em comin
  • Karen ~ those were great! Thanks for the laugh!
Way to go Dani and Anita!
You all would be proud of me! I nixed Olive Garden yesterday for lunch out with my mom and aunt - omg that was hard! Instead I had a chicken caeser spinach wrap - and only half of it - and a water for lunch! I was grateful to be able to stop when I was full! That hasn't happened in a long time!
Finally getting some rain today. We have had no rain since July 10th. My garden is singing. Not much planned toady. Just a little cleaning and still a ton of laundry.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
  • Donna you are doing so well and a great example to us all!
