My last official goal number. I hopped off and on twice to make sure I wasn't on the crack. I'd like to lose another 5 lbs or so ideally, but rest assured that I'm quite ecstatic to see this number. It's been a long and bumpy road with lots of detours along the way, but I made it. (And I'm determined to take up permanant residence in the neighborhood.)
So because I know we all love pictures, here's what 115 less lbs of me looks like.

I'm laughing because any advice I can think of just sounds so simplistic. Partially because it *is* simplistic. Losing weight isn't very complicated. The key for me was getting beyond the fickle winds of motivation and just making more good choices than bad day after day. It's getting to the point where the good choices, eating healthfully and in reasonable amounts, moving your body every day, becomes automatic. I think everybody is different in how they get to that place.
I buckled down and lost the last 50 lbs since January of this year.
