WATP video addition

  • I currently have the 1, 2, & 3 mile WATP Videos and I am loking to expand my video collection. I just love walking with Leslie, so I am going to buy more of her series. I've heard good things about the Walk/Jog and woulld love to try it but I have a borderline bum knee and I don't want to push the envelope. What about Walk/kick? I would love to keep it at 30 minutes. Any suggestions wiiuld be appreciated.

  • I have the Walk/Jog dvd, and I don't think it would be too much stress if you do the alternate moves. (She has the one lady to her side doing a lower-impact version.) The whole point of the video is the pace rather than the actual jogging, and it does help to get you moving a little faster. It's interval training, and I can tell a difference in my calorie burn when I include the short segments of jogging. Haven't tried the Walk/Kick one yet, so I'm no help there.

    Hope this helps!

  • Absolutely get Walk and Kick!

I'd suggest also trying Walk Strong and Heart Healthy Walk--two of my favorite L.S videos.
  • Actually if you check out her site, you can buy a set that has both Walk & Jog and Walk & Kick. There was another in there, but I don't recall the name of it cause I didn't care for it. But I do both the W&J and W&K ones. They're both about 30 minutes each. Just as easy to keep up with as all her other videos, but with some more faster-paced moves to get you sweating quicker.
