WW Flour?

  • I found a recipe for a chocolate torte and the only thing I question is that it calls for 2 T. WW flour.

    CHOCOLATE TORTE

    Blend together in blender at least 45 seconds:
    5 large eggs
    Artificial sweetener equal to 3/4 C.

    Add 1 C. pecans.

    Blend for 90 seconds and add 2 T. WW flour

    Blend some more and add:

    2 1/2 t. baking powder
    1/2 t. vanilla
    3 T. cocoa powder



    Bake for 20 minutes at 350F or until toothpick that is poked in the middle comes out clean.

    Because of the WW flour, do I have to wait until Ph2 to make this? It's only 2 T. for the entire recipe. Any thoughts?
  • I'd wait. Try the pb cup with or without pb if you want something chocolatey and creamy for now and are sick of sugar free fudgesicles. How much longer are you on Phase 1? I'm starting it Monday, although I've spent the last few days breaking my soda addiction (I thought that needed extra time!).
  • I do like the PB cup but I was going to make this for a potluck retreat tomorrow. I didn't know if it really would hurt me if there's only 2 T. in the whole thing, and I only had one piece?
  • I'd wait until phase 2. It looks like it might have a fair number of calories. And besides, with your stomach like it is you would be better off with blander foods.
