Anyone get weird cravings?

  • I just started WW this past monday, and the last couple of days I have been absolutely CRAVING milk! I've never really been a fan of milk and never really drank it much- I used to hate the taste. But for some reason now I'm dying for it. What's the best kind to get? Soy? Plain skim milk? Is this a sign I should be taking calcium?
  • Could be your bones crying out "FEED ME!" Or, it could be that you are acquiring new tastes! That happened to me. I have never liked peaches, but now I do.

    I don't particularly like milk, but I usually get 2%. DH likes to drink it, and I like it on my cereal. I would rather use the extra points on that one. And, it gives me some of the fat intake that I need for the day since everything else I eat is very lean.

    I don't know of any really odd cravings I've had. Though for two days I have been craving fried fish from Captain D's. I might break down and have a piece this weekend!
  • I crave dairy products in general. I usually reach for LF cheese or yogurt, but a glass of cold milk (I use 1%) can sure be great. I also crave chicken a lot. I used to crave chocolate...but I usually don't anymore.
