Arrrggghhh! Done in by Brussell Sprouts!!!

  • I thought I was doing so good on my diet all week.. couldn't see what I was doing wrong, but that darn scale has not budged. I exercised every day, ate what I thought to be under 20 carbs a day.

    Well today I figured it out. I have been eating too much brussell sprouts at dinner. Just had a craving for them, didn't see the harm... didn't look it up. They are packed with carbs. ARRGGGGH!

    At the same time I am relieved that I know now that was it. Maybe now I can actually loose some weight.
  • Congrats on your finding out the cause!! I like brussel sprouts but can only eat about 3-5 before I find the taste sickening. Maybe that's a good thing, huh?? Thanks for sharing the information and I'll make sure not to make it a regular part of my diet!!
  • Don't beat yourself up too bad. Although they are high carb, they are a vegetable and healthy for you. Eating vegetables should never be considered a bad thing, in my book. It could have been much, much worse! At least you figured it out and can now eat them accordingly.
