Good Morning!!Well...I have a gain this week and I dont even know how..Maybe I didnt eat enough??? Thanks Terri for the HB wish..I didnt go out to eat,have cake or anything sinful soo I just dont understand it..I am with whoever said it is the heat causing fluid retention????

Well..I am off to search for a hairbow making video or book today..I am tired of paying $8 for bows but are soo necessary for dressing...

Not sure if I said it first - but I did mention the heat/water thing - I know when it is retention when the bones in my feet disappear - for a fat chick - I have really boney feet - unless it is hot.

I agree with the heat causing water retention. Every year after returning from vacation in Florida I step on the scale. No matter how I follow my eating plan, it is not unusual to gain 4-8 pounds. Step up your water and fiber, it should regulate soon.

Hi Chefmaker! Welcome to 3FC!

PJ, My left foot has been swollen off and on for weeks now! Not sure why, weird that it's only one foot...had that problem while I was PG and the MW said it was the baby laying on a lymph node on that side. I've just been trying to step up the water intake.

Well I lost 2 lbs. I figure it was one from last week since I didn't weigh last week.. I seem to be losing about 1 lb a week for the past month. I have about 21 more lbs until the dr's will start discussing the breast reduction and skin removal. This will be the slowest loss of 21 lbs in the world just because I want smaller tata's so badly! We didn't do anything over the weekend, it's been a pretty darn boring one, but atleast I didn't spend any money right! Oh the one shocking thing that did happen is that my 18 yr old shaved his head!!! He said he was tired of fixing his hair all the time lol...

Quiet weekend here. Alex has had a stomach bug, so I've barely been out of the house. We did go out to play in the pool for a little while before lunch. Here's a cute pic:

Hi everyone!!

I'm new to the board, and still trying to get used to everything. I'm 33, married for 9 years (this week)!! No kids, but I have 3 furkids....1 cat, a chocolate lab, and a yorkshire terrier. I'm starting back on FitDay journaling my calories again. I have lost about 15 lbs in the last year, going on and off of WW, but now it's time to get serious and get the extra weight off. I hope that I can find the support I need here!

RR, I agree, I think in a couple years I will stop celebrating also! About the foot, actually last night it was not swollen! This AM it's slightly swollen. It's weird. I'm gonna try and kick up the water intake today and see what happens. Need to send my MW an email anyway.

Tiff, Congrats on the loss!

Well, I don't have any good news. My scale is showing a 2.5 lb. gain! Honestly, really thought I would have a loss. I was very surprised to see a gain. I'm guessing possibly the Brazilian restaurant we went to Friday night, or possibly AF...although I would think that I would've been retaining before she came?! Oh well, not a good way to start out again, but I'm going to try extra hard this week to pay attention to what I'm eating, and especially to how much water I'm drinking! Off to update the darn ticker...

well, they offered me the job but I had to turn it down. They wanted to put me on the night shift (after I told them I could only work days). After I politely turned it down I told them they should not offer jobs that they cannot provide. In the long run this is best, I do not think I could have handled the job anyway. I need a job so badly but I no this one just wasn't for me.

Welcome Anglekissezz, the people in this group are the best!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have..I'm pretty new myself!

Tiffy - so proud of you for standing your ground - trust me - the right job will come along and every job you have to turn down only helps you fine tune exactly what you are looking for - what is acceptable. Before long you will find that job that just fits and they will want you so bad they will take whatever terms you give them - so speak up! Anyone that can lose over 100 pounds with the stress you must have - is too amazing for me.

I am new to 3FC and this looks like a cool forum.

I just turned 31 a couple of weeks ago. The year of 30 was going to be my year to lose the weight. Well, it's still here! I am hopelessly addicted to sugar. I gave it up for 5 whole days a few months ago. I actually said the words "I feel great." and that's something that a pessimist, like myself, never says! I convinced myself that I could be a social-sweeter and cheesecake was my downfall. I am trying, trying, trying to get back on the wagon.

So in a nutshell that's me. I am afraid that if I don't lose this weight, I won't live to see my daughters grow up. I am hoping to find some new friends who understand the burden of trying to lose weight.
