He doesn't look bad at all...don't worry about the pics affecting him later, he'll ask you to tell the stories over and over...he'll probably be fascinated by the pics!
Kids love to hear ALLLL about when they were a baby.

Besides, he looks soo great! He's just little...but he doesn't have that look that puts panic in my very soul.
He'll be thrilled to hear that he was your little miracle baby...and all his life he'll have the pride of being a true fighter!

take lots and lots of pictures - it's a part of his life.
I took picture of Elijah before I had his tongue clipped (at 3 weeks of age) - I will be able to show him what he looked like before.

He's so cute Gretchen ~ glad he is doing well and will get to come home soon.

He really looks alert and much more aware of his surroundings than other preemies.

Something about him reminds me of when Liam was born...he was 6lbs.13oz.
The thing they have in common is the "old soul" look in their faces....like eons of wisdom are locked inside...like a little wizard!

I want another baby so badly!

Congratulations... and I agree, Carson will *love* hearing about how he was a little fighter. One of the only times I can ever recall having a "moment" with my mother is when she told me that I was a "miracle baby."

I'm sure you'll have millions of moments with Carson and he'll love everyone one of them. You're sooo lucky and so is he.

ohh, he's so cute and he looks great for being a preemie. If you wouldn't have told me he was born early you couldn't tell by his coloring and it looks like he's gained some weight.

Oh, what a little sweetheart!! Doesn't it just feel wonderful when he lays his little head on your chest?

And like Linda says, kids always want to hear about when they were babies so don't be worried about the NG tube. When my granddaughter was little, I often thought I'd like a photo of her without her NG tube and oxygen canula, but then I thought, hey, this is part of who she is at this stage in her life. While she still has the oxygen canula, she now has a G tube so we have an accurate pictorial record of what's happened with her, if that makes sense?
