Then a customer comes in who has been a customer for a long time. One of my other coworkers introduced me, because I'd never met this customer before. His comment to my coworker? "Hey, wasn't there a thin (my name) who used to work here?"
I had to walk away before I started to cry. I can't believe someone would be that rude! I just wanted to scream at him that I've lost more than 30 pounds, and I realize that I need to lose more but I'm working on it and it doesn't happen in a day. Mostly, I just wanted to tell him where to go, because that's a really horrible thing to say to someone. Here I was, feeling so great about myself, and this jerk completely deflated me.
Thanks a lot, buddy.

I wanted to pop him one too! Men are very insensitive that kind of stuff, they don't even know what they are saying sometimes - I think a lot of them aren't born with the gene that censors their thoughts before they get to their mouth
