I'm back from Chicago

  • And what a trip. I'll have to post more when I have more time. I only have a few minutes before I have to finish a couple of ads and head off to my first prenatal appt.
Sandi, we ended up not having anything to do on Wednesday evening but myself and the other consultant were beat and we ordered in Giordiarno's (sp?) pizza and went to bed early while our director was at her event.
Anyway, here's a couple of pics I took there.
I'll try and post a couple of pics from Chicago. (Awesome trip BTW and when I have more time this week, I'll post about my trip)

This is some cool fountains in the Millennium Park

I think this was called buckinham fountain or something

    Navy Pier

    The hotel where we stayed

And me (It's not the greatest pic and it almost looks like I'm snarling but I didn't want to post the one of all of us since I don't have their permission and had just met the others at our table.
  • Cool Dawnyal! I cant wait to heare about your trip!! It's so convienant that you just got back from Chicago! And that there are others here who have been there/live near there. I was just going to start a thread about this. My DH and I are thinking of going to Chicago for part of our vacation, and being the country-bumpkins that we are, thought you all might have some suggestions. What NOT to miss? Where to shop? Sights to see? Great places to eat? (Not that I plan to be off plan, or anything! ) Family-friendly places? (We have a 2 year old) The largest city I've ever been to is Louisville...and it's WAAAAYYYY smaller than Chicago. (Isn't that so sad?)
PS. I love that top you have on in the last pic, it's really beautiful!
  • Yummy....that is the best pizza ever!!! I make it a must have whenever I am in Chi-town. Hope you enjoyed it!
  • I was sorry to have you so close and not gotten the chance to meet you.

Glad you had an awesome time. Great pics!!!
