Weekly Weigh in 7/08

  • It looks like this thread hasn't been started yet this week, so I'll go ahead and be the first to weigh in.

    I somehow managed to lose 3lbs last week putting me down to 148. I've been activily dieting & excersizing for 3 weeks, do you suppose the 3lbs could be water loss? I've been doing 1 or 2lbs a week before this.
  • Congrats on the 3 pound loss!

    Still teetering around 146-147, but I kind of splurged last Wed and that shot me up to 149. Even though I know that was mostly water weight, it annoys me that I had to spend another week working my butt off to balance it out just so I could get back to losing for real. That's the bad thing about binging (not that there's anything good about it) even though you put on pounds in water, which dissipates quicker than fat, it still sets you back a few days. 'Tis not worth it, I say!

    i have been taking a break from dieting for a while, but i am back from vacation and i want to start again! i have moved back home, which gives me much more control over what i am eating (unlike at college!). this morning i weighed in at 156.5...ideally i would like to be at 138 lbs., so i have some work to do. good luck to everyone, and happy monday!

  • losing ONLY ONE pound is still better than gaining or being stuck on a dreaded plateau so remember that!

  • well I caved and finally used the blasted scale at the gym - I am not sure its really true - I mean yes its 8 pounds down, but i thought i'd be a little bit lighter - like in the 180s - oh well - i guess it is 8 real pounds down. but still like the heaviest I have been in a while
    so a bit down
