At the age of 15, I had to have a hysterectomy. Up to that point, I didn't have a weight problem. After the surgery, my doctor put me on hormone replacement therapy and, later, anti-depressants. I went from weighing 118 to my current weight of 245. Nothing I do seems to matter. And, when I talked to my doctor about this, he basically said I was nuts for blaming the meds on weight gain.
So, here I am. I don't want to weigh this much anymore. I'd like to be down to about 140. This web site is like an oasis in the desert. I'm very excited about the level of support that is shown here. I can't wait to be a part of it all!!!

You'll find a mountain of women that have had weight gain due to hormonal problems and medications. I'm one of them! Now you just have to find what works for you to get the weight off. And you WILL find it.
