Tomorrow Begins a New Phase

  • Monday morning is when I weigh for the second time, the end of phase 1. It's been so hard not to want to step on the scales for a week! Also tomorrow I start P2. I've been to the grocery and added in a few things from the list, I was careful to only get a select few things so I wouldn't be too tempted. Pretty basic...apples, strawberries, grapes for fruit. Then wg bread and the SB cereal for my breads. I don't want to mess this up! It's kinda scary!
  • Welcome to phase 2. Kelly, be careful of the fruits. They can set of cravings. I would eat them with a fat or high fiber something to slow their rate of digestion. I personally started with oat meal because I can take it to work. I'm 1 1/2 weeks into phase 2.

  • Maybe if I had the strawberries with my SB cereal, that might help? It's crazy, but I'm actually really worried about this!
  • Try not to stress. If something gives you cravings...don't eat it again.

  • Just don't add too many things at once. Try a few days with just the cereal before adding fruit. Add things slowly.
  • I had the SB cereal this morning, without any fruit. If I have any fruit today, I'm going to save it for later in the day. And I was down 3 pounds...I was hoping for more my second week on P1, but considering it was that time of the month, maybe that's pretty good?

  • You didn't gain the weight overnight and you're not going to lose it overnight. Down is good. AND KEEP DRINKING THE WATER! Off to have lunch.

  • It went fine! I didn't notice any cravings, but I didn't have the cereal this morning, I'm saving my carb for lunch with a ww pita today. I'm just testing the waters slowly!
