Terri- BFL is a -program in which you eat six small meals a day combining a protein and a healthy carb (fruits, whole wheat flour products etc.) and you exercise six days a week (still struggling with all six days). Genrally, you alternate a weight training day with a cardio day. It's a very sensible plan created by Bill Phillips (?).
L-renee- how is BFL for women? I haven't gotten the book because I'm basically too cheap and know that the original BFL has worked for me in the past if I can just saty focused. BTW- good for you losing 3lbs- great start!!
Let's check in at least once a day and try to keep each other motivated and honest!
Have a great night!

Hey Jean,
Well as far as the BFL for women the major differences are 1) Cardio is for 30 minutes every other day instead of 20 minutes, 2) The weight training is shorter only 3 reps per body part instead of 6 with BFL, 3) NO FREE DAY of eating!, instead you are supposed to take "mini chills" everyday (still not to clear on that one), but you still get a free day from working out and 4) some of the eating is different, you still are supposed to eat 5 to 6 mini meals a day, but not necessarily pair a protein with a carb everymeal, depending on you particular BMI, 5) another thing, low fat yogurt is considered a protein on BFL for women instead of a carb on the original BFL.....so I basically stick to the eating program for BFL for women and the cardio , but I do the weight training from BFL. I'm kinda torn between the two programs but I'm trying to stick to the womens plan to see what results I can get...I does seem to take into consideration women's particular concerns, such as emotional eating and those hormonal issue we face once a months

....but I look forward to having someone to share this experience and get some support and hopefully I can provide the same to you..hope you have a great day
Talk to you soon!
