Just a few quickie questions

  • I'm as you can see 4.8 as of Tuesday from goal. 148 is the highest based upon my age and height and am wondering Is it harder to maintain than lose? I also chose 148 so I can stop paying sooner. I'm thinking maybe once I reach 148 I'd like to lose maybe 2-3 more lbs. It's my understanding that I can still lose on maintence but can't go any lower than the lowest for my range correct? For me would that be the 124 I'm 26 and honestly have never in my adult life been this small and don't think I'd look okay at 124 seems too low. I'm 5'6" if that helps Thanks in advance
  • You can choose whatever goal weight you want but I would suggest going for your actual goal weight because it'll keep you in the weight loss mindset. Yes, you can lose during maintenance but WW really wants you to learn how many points you need in order to maintain your goal within 2#. I chose the middle of my scale (142) and I've been able to maintain that for 6 years. I'm 5'7". Last year I lost a little more and I've been maintaining around 136-38.

Talk with your leader about choosing a goal if you attend meetings. Congratulations on your success!!

I agree.....................talk to your Leader and do not start maintenance until you are ready to truly maintain. Many continue to lose small amounts each week even during maintenance.(with adding a few points )

WW does not allow a member to go more than 5 pounds below the LOWEST end of the range unless you have a Doctors permission slip.

I think you are choosing a good weight you can maintain. That is important!

    Good Luck!
